About Me
I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science (Big Data Engineering) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) and the University of Amsterdam (UvA).
After completing my Bachelor’s degree, I worked for 4 years as a Software Engineer, building and maintaining production applications. I have a deep appreciation for clean code, scalable systems, and the "why" behind every architectural decision.
I grew up fascinated by systems that quietly keep cities moving—public transport, utilities, logistics. That curiosity pushed me toward backend engineering where the work is rarely seen but deeply felt.
Over the past few years I’ve built streaming pipelines, event-driven APIs, and IoT platforms that help physical spaces behave smarter.
You’ll usually find me sketching architecture ideas at a café, playing badminton, or planning the next hike. I compulsively document projects through photos and long-form notes—it’s how I remember why the small decisions mattered.

Led airside flight detection, MongoDB upgrade, and built MQTT + Kafka ingestion pushing 50K+ events/sec.
Designed REST + WebSocket APIs for venue analytics and improved MongoDB latency by 40%.
Built 'TransNithya' traffic mitigation app using Java/Spring Boot & Angular. Deployed on AWS EC2.
